Known as a talented basketball player, Michael Moody, who played at Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk, where he was known for his "smooth," jump shot, was stabbed around 1 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 8, Norwalk Police said.

Norwalk police, who have not released many details, said on Thursday they had a person of interest in the death of the longtime resident neighbors called quiet, but friendly.
